Facility Rental

ARTSPACE is a contemporary art facility downtown that has multiple spaces available for private event rental outside our regular operating hours.

Our Main Gallery is an expansive, multi-purpose space. At 1500 sq.ft. with a 40-foot wall of windows looking out onto Aylmer Street, it can accomodate just about anything. From musical performances to board meetings, parties to press conferences, we've had it all at ARTSPACE.

The Mudroom is ideal for intimate events or film screenings; this black-box theatre is aproximately 370 sq.ft.

Equipment Rental

ARTSPACE owns two data projectors that can be rented on a daily ($60) or weekly ($240) basis to individuals and organizations within the Peterborough area. Each projector has multiple video ports and is compatible with all data input sources, the only differences being picture brightness; the PLC-XT16 has 3,500 lm, and the PLC-XT11 has 2,700 lm. Rental fees are payable at the time of booking, and booking should be done at least three (3) days in advance.

We also have the following equipment available for use in gallery, by current members: Macbook laptop, scanner/printer, digital video camera (Panasonic PV-GS150), digital camera (Nikon CoolPix 5400), audio recorder, slide projector, and vintage Super8 film recorder. 

ARTSPACE Rental Policies

Rental fees for space and equipment vary, depending on your membership status. Membership entitles you to discounted rates, and can be purchased anytime. For more information on rental availability and specific capacities, call (705) 748 3883.
